I'd decided to paint the fatigues like the Cadians in the how to paint Astra Militarum video.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-0CwWyrXZpI4/VpLuZ7jpXWI/AAAAAAAAACs/8ekfsx7gbZ0/s640/blogger-image--1618114528.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-0CwWyrXZpI4/VpLuZ7jpXWI/AAAAAAAAACs/8ekfsx7gbZ0/s640/blogger-image--1618114528.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><i>Not a very exciting picture...</i></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><i><br></i></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Here you can see my mornings work. I used only two of the brushes for this.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-67g03UEmH2E/VpLuYEH6BqI/AAAAAAAAACc/wKlA695dnxo/s640/blogger-image-162557740.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-67g03UEmH2E/VpLuYEH6BqI/AAAAAAAAACc/wKlA695dnxo/s640/blogger-image-162557740.jpg"></a></div><br></div><i>Namely these two, M and L base brushes.</i></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The L at the top is fantastic, it holds water and paint really well and the shape is great for getting in smaller spaces. It was lost on my scouts to be honest, I really need to give it a go on a better subject but still was great none the less.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The M is the real deal. The amount of paint and moisture it retains is incredible. It took a bit of getting used to at first because I wasn't aware just how much water it would hold, thus making my paint too thin. Once I had sorted that out though I was flying! I would guess that this brush holds three times the amount of the previous version on GW's base brush. It meant I could get a lot more painting done before getting more which in turn sped everything up.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">And finally, I had something happen today while painting that hasn't happened to me before... I dropped a model, and it bounced and landed in my water jar! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">By now I should have come up with a better way of holding minis rather than by the base... Any tips? How do you hold your minis?</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2141748721667104605.post-55685024924805511242016-01-06T22:38:00.001+00:002016-01-06T22:38:43.934+00:00Army build progressOver the last couple of days I've built and undercoated 500 points of Space Marines.<div><br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-7Ac6O3Pqn1M/Vo2Xb9v940I/AAAAAAAAACE/bVstY2uB_Ps/s640/blogger-image-1571084115.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em;
